What You'll Own

Retail Store

  • Manage the daily operations of the Outdoors Society RRC, including: customer experience, inventory/stockroom, social media content, and community.

Community Events

  • Work with the Head of Community and Retail to execute engaging community events, showcasing the best of the Auckland outdoors.

 

What You'll Bring

  • A strong instinct for what makes a great in-store experience. From how the space feels, to how customers are welcomed, to how the brand shows up day-to-day.
  • A strong bias for action.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, slightly scrappy environment where clarity comes from doing, not over-planning.
  • Strong organisational habits: you can plan ahead, keep things tidy (physically and digitally), and run a tight ship.
  • A genuine interest in the outdoors, culture, and community-led brands: living the Outdoors Society lifestyle.

 

Further Details

This role is Sunday and one week day (ideally Monday), 15 hours a week, based out of our Outdoors Society RRC location in Uptown, Auckalnd.

This role is for someone who wants to own a space, a vibe, and a community - making a genuine difference in people's lives and how they interact with Tāmaki Makaurau - Auckland City.
